| Cause | When you check your chart of accounts, you may get the error 'The following ranges overlap onto each other:' with a list of ranges. This means that either the low or the high number of the category account ranges falls within another range, for example: | Category Account | Low | High | | Product Sales | 4010 | 4099 | | Export Sales | 4080 | 4100 - This overlaps the first category account range. | | Import Sales | 4000 | 4050 - This overlaps the first category account range. |

| Resolution | To correct this, amend the ranges so that each nominal code is included in one range only, for example:

| Product Sales | 4010 | 4079 | | Export Sales | 4080 | 4100 | | Import Sales | 4000 | 4009 |
