When you check your chart of accounts, you may get the following error:

• Nominal Code xxxx not represented in chart

This means that a nominal code doesn't fall within an existing category account range in your chart of accounts.

To correct this, you should add the nominal code to the chart of accounts, either by expanding an existing category range or by adding the nominal code as a range on its own, for example:
