| Resolution | Clearing cookies from a web browserChrome- In the address bar, type chrome://settings/clearBrowserData and press Enter.
- From the Basic and Advanced tabs, select the following:
- Browsing history
- Download history
- Cookies and other site plug-in data
- Cached images and files
- From the Time range drop-down, choose the period of time you want to apply, or to clear all items, select All time.
- Click Clear Data.
- Close and re-open the browser.
Firefox TIP: If the menu bar is hidden, press Alt.
- Open the History menu and click Clear recent history.
- From the Time range to clear drop-down, choose the required range or choose Everything.
- From the Details drop-down, choose the items to clear or select All items.
- Click Clear now.
- Close and re-open the browser.
Microsoft Edge- In the top right corner of the browser, click the ellipsis
icon. - Click History, then click the ellipsis
icon in the history tab. - Click Clear browsing data.
- Set an appropriate time range from the drop down box.
- Click Clear now.
- Close all browser windows, then open the browser again.
Clearing the browsing history in Control Panel- Press the Windows button + R, enter inetcpl.cpl, then under browsing history, click Delete
